Simulation test of the Global Konet MiNi flat-panel ESA antenna designed for drone applications.

This video presents a simulation test of the Global Konet MiNi flat-panel ESA antenna designed for drone applications. The MiNi antenna is mounted on a motion platform to reproduce real in-flight drone movements such as pitch, roll, and yaw.

Through the simulation, we demonstrate that the antenna maintains stable satellite signal reception and continuous communication service even under rapid and dynamic motion. The test verifies the antenna’s electronic beam steering performance, acquisition and tracking stability, and its ability to support reliable SATCOM links in demanding drone missions.

This simulation highlights the MiNi antenna’s suitability for:

• UAV long-range SATCOM

• ISR missions

• Maritime/ground mobility platforms

• Situations requiring compact, lightweight, and high-reliability satellite connectivity

Global Konet will continue advancing high-performance ESA technology for next-generation unmanned systems and mobile SATCOM solutions.
