Global Konet, a company specializing in satellite antennas, said on the 10th that it attended the "Community Asia 2022" held in Singapore from June 1st to 3rd and held a local exhibition event for the first time in two years. Communication Asia 2022, well known as Asia's largest ICT fair event, has held online exhibitions over the past two years due to the pandemic of the coronavirus. Global Konet has been preparing for two years to lead the terrestrial communication antenna market in the global aerospace field beyond the domestic market, and this year, the quarantine was lifted due to the end of the pandemic, and on-site displays of flat antenna Konet MENPAC and the compact-sized Konet ManPAC 2.
"At the exhibition event held from June 1 to 3, four types of antennas were presented, including the beamforming ESA antenna, the Konet Omega KA band satellite antenna, and the KONET Alpha 2 satellite antenna," a company official said. "We personally realized the higher-than-expected local interest and achieved remarkable export results."
According to the company, global satellite operators first paid a lot of attention and signed a memorandum of understanding to sell $4 million through business cooperation in Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. It also said that it will conduct future cooperation to develop antennas for aircraft required by Middle East partners, and that Manpac antennas will also cooperate with KA band development.

In particular, we actively promoted the technology that was selected as the national representative of innovative companies 1000, and through a number of technical consultations, we were able to achieve the contract results. In addition, we have discovered overseas sales agencies that we lacked at this exhibition, and through this, we have laid a bridgehead for overseas market expansion."
In the future, Global Konet plans to continue to participate in overseas exhibitions to promote the excellence of its products and to strengthen its overseas export capabilities by securing competitive sales agencies, he said.
