A specialized provider of electronically steered beamforming ESA satellite antennas, Global Konet (CEO Kim Yeon-gon), announced that it has been selected as a promising company for the “2026 Global Hidden Champion 1000+ Project,” jointly organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency.

Through the “Global Hidden Champion 1000+ Project,” the government identifies small and medium-sized enterprises with strong innovation and export growth potential and fosters them into global leaders in the international market.

In fact, each year, companies with both technological competitiveness and growth potential are selected through a rigorous evaluation process amid intense competition, preparing them to take the next leap toward becoming global enterprises.

Global Konet is recognized as a company possessing proprietary core technology in the field of electronically steered array (ESA) satellite antennas.

It has developed a next-generation SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) antenna that enables stable, high-speed data communications in complex wireless environments—including 5G/LTE, LEO (Starlink, OneWeb), and GEO multi-orbit networks—even in underground tunnels and dense urban areas.

By delivering both Starlink and geostationary satellite communications in high-mobility environments, the company’s seamless connectivity technology is gaining attention across maritime, vehicular, drone, and defense and government markets.
