Exhibiting the full lineup of in-house produced phased array ESA antennas
Promoting the development of an ultra-compact, ultra-lightweight satellite communication ESA antenna system based on electronic beamforming for UAVs

Global Konet Co., Ltd., a specialized company in electronically steered flat-panel satellite array antennas (CEO: Kim Yeon-gon), participated in one of the world’s largest satellite exhibitions, “Satellite Show 2026,” where it unveiled new technologies and discussed business collaboration opportunities with various international partners.
The event was held for three days from March 24 to 26, 2026, at the Washington Convention Center in the United States. During the exhibition, the company promoted its products alongside leading companies in the satellite communications industry and engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest satellite antenna technologies.
While participation up to 2025 had been focused on promoting the company’s latest products and business direction and identifying potential partners, the 2026 exhibition marked a more advanced stage, with the company actively pursuing contracts with partners for ongoing and future business opportunities.
In particular, by showcasing a video demonstration of the Proof of Concept (POC) results of the MiNi / Nabi satellite antennas—conducted in mid-March with Taiwan’s TAS (Teleport Access Services Inc.) for use on Taiwan Coast Guard vessels—the company captured the attention of SATShow attendees and attracted a greater number of potential business partners to its booth.

Through a meeting with the Vice President of iDirect, a U.S.-based company specializing in antenna modems, discussions were held on potential business and technical collaboration for future drone development.
The discussion also covered a wide range of technical aspects, including investment companies involved in ESA antenna development for drones, current development status, drone-mounted boards, Tx/Rx operation, batteries, thermal management, as well as detailed specifications, design and architecture, and operational software. In addition, both sides exchanged views on iDirect’s potential participation in future projects.

After providing an overview of the company’s products, sales-related discussions were conducted with Moubic, a Japanese company engaged in the import, distribution, and installation of satellite communication products such as satellite modems and antennas.

The Head of Sales of Astranis, a U.S.-based partner company specializing in satellite communications, visited the company’s booth and discussed potential collaboration in markets such as Indonesia, Israel, and Vietnam.
In addition, following the successful maritime POC in the Philippines after the recent purchase of the company’s satellite antennas, Astranis expressed its intention to place additional orders, leading to further constructive discussions.

After the exhibition concluded, the following day—during the return schedule—the company visited the Viasat Reston Office in Washington, a U.S.-based satellite communications service provider. The CEO personally delivered a company introduction presentation on Global Konet, followed by discussions on potential areas of collaboration with Viasat and ways to apply the company’s proprietary technologies.
In addition, the meeting served as an opportunity to build mutual understanding and alignment on pursuing future cooperation based on Viasat’s established global partnerships.
In addition, through a breakfast meeting at a hotel near the exhibition venue with the CEO of XipLink, detailed discussions were held regarding cooperation plans and technical support related to ongoing projects in Korea. Follow-up actions were carried out via email after returning to Korea.
This year’s SATShow in Washington, D.C., marked the company’s fourth participation in the exhibition, and it is expected to be remembered as the most productive and successful one compared to all previous years.
