AS9100D is the highest-level quality management system standard based on ISO 9001, reflecting the specific characteristics of the aerospace, space, and defense industries, and includes more than 100 additional requirements. The standard comprehensively demands essential elements for high-reliability industries, such as systematic risk management, rigorous configuration and change management, prevention of counterfeit parts, and product safety assurance, and is used as a key criterion for entry into the global aerospace supply chain.
During the certification process, Global Konet demonstrated that it has established a full life-cycle quality process covering the design, manufacturing, verification, and delivery of electronic beam-steering (ESA) satellite communication equipment, as well as built an advanced process control and quality management system required by the aerospace industry. As a result, the company was evaluated as having secured not only consistent product quality but also high reliability and stable delivery capabilities.
In particular, Global Konet has strengthened a demonstration-oriented quality system that reflects real operational environments, based on its ESA satellite communication design and manufacturing capabilities that take into account the harsh operating conditions required in UAVs and drones, mobile platforms, defense, and SATCOM environments.
