Global Konet to Officially Launch Next-Generation L-Band Antenna 'LFA50' at Seoul ADEX 2025

South Korea’s leading electronic satellite antenna (ESA) technology company, Global Konet, announced that it will officially unveil its next-generation L-Band antenna, ‘LFA50’, at the Seoul ADEX 2025 exhibition, taking place from October 20 to 24, 2025 at KINTEX Exhibition Center.

The LFA50 goes beyond conventional satellite communications, offering a low-power, high-reliability solution tailored for a wide range of applications such as disaster recovery, location tracking, and national dam water level monitoring infrastructure.

Built on a circular dual/single polarization design, the LFA50 ensures stable communication links. It integrates a low-power 5W-class transmission module and a high-efficiency panel structure to maximize battery life. Engineered to withstand rain fade, it delivers reliable performance even under extreme weather conditions like typhoons and heavy snow. Its lightweight and compact form factor (550×550×62 mm) allows for easy on-site deployment.

The antenna is designed to comply with communication standards of GK3, the nation's upcoming integrated disaster-response satellite system, making it an ideal solution for both water resource management and emergency communication networks.

At the exhibition, Global Konet will also showcase a range of advanced communication solutions, including vehicle-mounted ESA antennas with electronic beam steering, the Minicommsat terminal for drone integration, and a portable manpack satellite terminal.

In collaboration with a state-owned Israeli defense company, the joint exhibition will feature cutting-edge technologies such as Line-of-Sight (LOS) solutions for long-range ground communications with drones, as well as remote satellite communication systems capable of connecting across thousands of kilometers.

Kim Yeon-gon, CEO of Global Konet, stated:

“This exhibition marks more than just the launch of a new antenna — it's the starting point of an integrated smart infrastructure that enables seamless connectivity anywhere, anytime.”
“Korea’s ESA communication technology is now moving beyond terrestrial limitations, expanding its role into aviation and drone-based networks, and positioning itself within the global aerospace market.”

At Seoul ADEX 2025, Global Konet will present its full lineup of Ku-, Ka-, and L-Band flat panel antennas, with live demonstrations showcasing their integration with various platforms, including drones, vehicles, vessels, and disaster communication systems.
