Global Konet, a Korean-based specialist in electronically steered antenna (ESA) exports, announced its debut participation at CES 2025, the world’s largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition. At the event, the company unveiled its lightweight ESA antenna optimized for small drone applications.
Through innovative R&D, Global Konet has developed a drone antenna weighing under 2 kilograms, significantly lighter than conventional models. This advancement has resulted in improved operational efficiency and performance, specifically tailored for next-generation UAV platforms.
In terms of WiFi communication, the company showcased remarkable improvements. While conventional drone systems typically operate within 3 kilometers for about 30 minutes, Konet’s ESA beamforming antenna extends the operating time to over 2 hours and communication range beyond 1,000 kilometers, significantly broadening the drone’s effective use case in long-range missions.
At CES 2025, Global Konet also introduced its real-time tracking technology for LEO satellites. The K-Starlink Tracking Antenna utilizes the Starlink satellite database and AI-powered tracking algorithms to accurately calculate satellite positioning by time and location, enabling real-time LEO satellite tracking and performance diagnostics.

A Global Konet official commented,
“This year’s CES theme focused on ‘The Future of AI.’ Our participation was an opportunity to showcase how flat panel ESA antennas can be integrated with artificial intelligence in the space domain. We are proud to present the future of Global Konet's advanced technologies.”
