The 2024 Defense Intelligence Information Conference was held on December 11 at the Daegu Convention Center (EXCO) under the theme "Building the Foundation and Strengthening Capabilities for Defense AI Transition (Defense AX)."

The Ministry of National Defense explained that the event was organized to build a proud AI-powered military through collaboration among industry, academia, research institutions, and the armed forces.

The conference featured seminars on AI technologies driving battlefield transformation, discussions, and a performance report session on nurturing defense AI and software talent. Additionally, a defense experiment project performance report and an AI-digital technology exhibition involving industry, academia, research, and the military were held.

Global Connet, a leader in the domestic and international military satellite drone market with proprietary technology, showcased its lightweight drone antenna technology, weighing under 5 kg. The company focuses on expanding the market with systems that deliver real-time high-definition (F-HD) video feeds of field conditions.
